New Technology for Structural Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery at Delray

We're excited to have the latest technology now available for our team and our patients at Delray Medical Center. We're the first hospital in Florida — and among the first in the United States — to integrate the GE Vivid Pioneer Ultrasound System with the NUVISION Ultrasound Catheter (Johnson & Johnson MedTech), enabling high-resolution 4D intracardiac echocardiography (ICE) from within the heart itself. This gives our team detailed, multi-planar visualization during complex structural procedures such as left atrial appendage closure, transcatheter valve repair, and valve replacement — and in select patients, without the routine need for general anesthesia that traditional transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) requires.
