My practice, South Florida Heart Institute, part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is looking for a non-invasive cardiologist to join our team here in Delray Beach. Non-invasive means the work centers on evaluating and imaging the heart rather than performing catheter-based procedures. The position is anchored at Delray Medical Center, a 493-bed Level I Trauma Center, and it carries something I think sets it apart: whoever takes it also serves as core teaching faculty for the Florida Atlantic University Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship. The Role at a Glance

• What the job covers: A full-time employed role spanning both inpatient consultation (seeing patients admitted to the hospital) and outpatient clinic, alongside advanced cardiac imaging.
• The imaging work: Transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography (ultrasound of the heart from the chest wall and from the esophagus, respectively) plus coronary CT angiography, which uses a CT scanner to look directly at the coronary arteries.
• Teaching built in: Core faculty for the FAU Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship. Our practice already trains these fellows, so this is real teaching, not a title.
